John was born on July 16, 1952 in Henderson, Nevada, to parents Albert and Connie.
After graduating from Valley High School, John worked as an appliance repairman his entire professional career. He married Patricia Ryan in 1975, and together they shared 51 years of marriage.
John will be remembered for his unmatched sense of humor, his selfless service to others, and his ability to provide wise counsel.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Ryan, Alex, and Tyler, and siblings Monica, Bruce, and Shanda.
A celebration of life service will be held at Epiphany Episcopal Church, 10450 Gilespie St, in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11 at 11am.
