Stacy Patricia Ramsey, 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on April 18, 2025 in Portland, Oregon after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Stacy was born in Santa Ana, California on October 24, 1952, and attended Miramonte High School, Rutgers University and University of Texas. She spent her career as a passionate and highly respected registered nurse, specializing in pediatrics. She cared deeply for her young patients and their families, always advocating for them with compassion and dedication.
Stacy loved her family and was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. Her presence lit up every room, and her kindness, strength and joy made the world a better, brighter place. She lived a life filled with adventure, beauty and love.
She is survived by her mother, Erma (Patty) Cairns; her sister and brother-in-law, Dana and Rob Watson; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Kristin Cairns; her devoted husband, Jack Ramsey; her daughter and son-in-law, Evan and Stephen Heltne, and her beloved grandson Blake Heltne.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored; a step daughter Deborah Devore, and step grandchildren EmaLee, Sean and Kaylee Heltne.
Stacy will be deeply missed and will live forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
