Penny was raised in Pacifica, CA and graduated from Terra Nova High School in 1965. She worked for the US Post Office in the foreign mail office. She retired from there, then moved to Brookings Oregon, where she helped care for her parents. She was active in the Daughters of the Nile, and enjoyed her time working with them on raising money for the Shriner’s Hospital
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mae Meo of Brooking Oregon . She is survived by her sister, Judy Meo of Half Moon Bay, her nephew Joseph, his wife Margaret Korbus and their son Robert, her niece, Jennifer and her children, Isabella, Mackenzie, and Jillian.
Services will be private, and her ashes will be scattered at sea by the Neptune Society.
