Donnie Ray Hunt

Donnie Hunt, 78, passed away in a heavy equipment accident on Friday, April 18th, 2025. He was born in Waldron, Arkansas on September 10th, 1946, to R.B. Hunt and Edna Richey Hunt. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked for the Bonneville Power Administration for 24 years. While not in federal service he worked in long haul trucking and enjoyed Harley Rendezvous’, gardening, restoring equipment, lengthy breakfasts with a large group of close friends, and frequent visits with his cousins Doyle and Joyce Raney.

He is survived by one son, Bobby Hunt; three sisters, Jau Wanda Thompson of Reserve, NM, Mary Lou Jones of Waldron, AR, and Debbie Kay Maduka of Fort Worth, Tx; two brothers, Robert Hunt of Mena, AR, and Bobby Hunt of Fort Worth, TX; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenny Wayne Hunt of Waldron, AR.

At his request, no service will be held.
