David Dean Penrod

David Dean Penrod was born November 12, 1945, passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2024 at the age of 79. David enlisted in the Navy at the age of 17 and served from 1963 to 1966 on the USS Yosemite and then in the Naval Reserve until 1969. He was trained and served as an electrician and continued to work as an electrician at various jobs until he retired in 2008. David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diana Jane Penrod (Brandon), his brothers Tom Penrod and Eugene(Jeanetta) Penrod, and his sisters Alice Candela and Dottie (Curt) Walker. He also is survived by his three children, Jessie (Pat) Runions, Vickie (Stan) Bates and Robert Penrod, 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and Diana’s children Eddie (Kathy) White and Kathleen (Troy) McNamee. David was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Dorothy Penrod, Bob Haggard, ex-wife Mary Penrod and nephews MIchael and Eric Penrod.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held at the Albany Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in Albany, Oregon on Friday, January 17th starting at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Point Church of the Nazarene.
