We regret to announce the passing of Clifford Roy Ebert, aged 92, who passed away peacefully from natural causes on March 31, 2025 at his home in Forest Grove, Oregon.
Clifford was retired from a long career as a forester at the Oregon State Forestry Department. He was a respected member of his profession and known for his integrity, professionalism, and competent, even-keeled leadership. He graduated from Tillamook High School and served 4 years in the United States Navy.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Clifford was a devoted family man, who loved his spouse, children, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren above all else. He was a beloved husband to Sharron, and a devoted father to his three sons Tony, Clint, and Wade. His generosity, selflessness, unconditional love for life and people made him a cherished and loyal friend to many.
In his free time, Clifford enjoyed gardening, home projects, and helping family, friends, and neighbors. He was also a valued member of the community, actively working for Habitat for Humanity until age 90 as well supporting several charities.
Clifford is survived by Sharron, three sons, three daughters in-law, eight grandchildren, and his brother Ken, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Clifford was widely admired and an inspiration to nearly everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and colleagues.
