My son, Derek Larwick, had the privilege of working as a clerk for Judge Goodwin in Pasadena in 2011/2012.  What a wonderful opportunity!  I spent five days in San Francisco with them, observing in the courtroom.  I feel honored to have known such a great man!  Sincerely, Paula 

I was very sad to hear that judge Goodwin passed away. Even though I never met him personally, I admired the fact that despite his advanced age, he was still an active senior judge. He served his country all his life, first as a soldier and then as a judge and I deeply respected him for that. 

I send my sincere condolences to his family, his friends and his colleagues.

I pray to God that he rests in peace and rises in glory.
