Susan Beth Chandler

Heaven has gained another angel as Susan B. Chandler completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born on January 31, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI to Carl and Martha Shoemaker. Sue was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was an avid animal lover, a talented gardener, a huge movie buff and an amazing cook. She loved anything that included her family and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Marty; brothers, Timothy Fenn and Daniel (Sandy) Fenn. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim Chandler; son, Christopher (Casey) Chandler; daughter, Kristina Chandler; sister-in-laws, Vicky Fenn and Brenda Barone; brothers, Mark (Lynn) Shoemaker and Kelly (Coleen) Shoemaker; sister, Terri (Dan) Wiers; special niece “Lou”; along with many other family members and close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Susan on June 6, 2026, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at 520 20 Mile Road NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. Information will be provided on Jim’s facebook page. Please bring any memories of Sue that you would like to share.
