Sheri Lynn Schoenfield

Sheri dedicated her life to her family and her community. She had a passion for education and family services, touching the lives of many throughout her career. She was a loving wife to Robert Schoenfield Jr. and a devoted mother to her daughter, Holly (age 36). Sheri adored her granddaughter, Mackenzie (age 20), and cherished the time she spent with her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. Bogues (1920-1998) and Leora L. McMahan Bogues (1924-1999), and her sister, Judy Oddy (1947-2016).

Sheri was a vibrant woman with a love for life and a deep appreciation for the natural world. She found joy in many hobbies, including quilting, photography, reading, gardening, ancestry research, and arts and crafts. A strong advocate for environmental conservation, she was a dedicated member of the Save the Dams group, working to preserve the hydroelectric dams on the Au Sable River.

Those who knew Sheri will remember her kind and caring nature, her infectious laughter, and her creative spirit. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
