

Ronald N. Sakowski, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, his place of birth, at the age of 84. Ronald was born the day before Pearl Harbor, on December 6th, 1941, to parents Harry and Florence Sakowski.
Ronald graduated Cum Laude from Michigan State University in 1963. Following his graduation, Ronald was a guest of Uncle Sam during the Vietnam Era as an E-5. Throughout his life, Ronald has been an outstanding member of many societies: Beta Alpha Psi, Alpha Kappa Psi, Knights of Columbus Council #3104, 4th Degree Assembly #473, and St. Stanislaus Aid Society, of which his grandfather, Anthony Sakowski, was the first president in 1898. Ronald was a remarkable CPA in his professional life and a wonderful husband and father in his personal life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Florence; loving wife of 44 years, Mary Lee (Markham) Sakowski; second-born son, Kevin Sakowski; and brother-in-law, Jerry Rardin. Ronald is survived by his sister, Marybeth Rardin; children, Bryon (Christine) Sakowski and Nicole (Paul) Bonis; and grandchildren, Brooke, Kylee, Jacob (Brooklyn), Jade, and Corrie.
