Roberta Kay Perhne

The daughter of Walter and Agnes May. She was born on October 29, 1944 in Charlotte. Bobbie retired from Michigan State University after 30 years of service. Also was a member of Mount Hope Church. Her most current church was South Church in Lansing, MI. She was a great servant of God. She loved playing poker, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Enjoyed fishing with her husband and son. She loved reading, crocheting, and knitting, all the grandkids have many of her handmade items. She was also an awesome seamstress. She spent many hours shopping with her daughter, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters. She loved matching her several pairs of HOKAS to all her clothes. She was the best dressed 81-year-old you would ever have met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Agnes May; husband, Bob of 61 years; two sisters, Barbara and Joan; and great granddaughter, Amber. Surviving is her daughter, Tammy (Brad) Bush; son, David (Cristina) Perhne; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be from 3-6PM on Saturday, September 12 , 2026 at The VFW hall, 695 Lansing road Charlotte, Michigan 48813.
