Robert William Burns Jr.

Robert "Rob" W. Burns Jr. of Lansing passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. The son of Margaret (Peggy) Pesavento Burns and the late Robert (Bob) Burns. Rob was born on December 1, 1974 in LaGrange IL.

Rob was a Mail Carrier for several years and loved his job. He loved people and socializing. His favorite things were his dogs, Nola and Ollie. All his life he loved and wanted to take care animals.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy; brothers, Richard (Elizabeth) and Andrew (Julie); partner, Terry Lickman; niece, Evelyn Burns; nephews, Ellis and Edward Burns; stepmother, Terrie Burns; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. His family was important to him and he never wanted to miss a chance to be at a family gathering.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Bob Burns; grandparents, Regis and Effie Burns and John and Georgann Pesavento; and special uncle and aunt, Dan and Ellen Pesavento.

Memorial service will be on Saturday, May 20th from 1:00 - 3:00 at Gravity Smokehouse, 2440 Cedar St. Holt, MI 48842.
