With gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Randall Harold Peters; husband, father, grandfather, dentist, and friend, who passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Grand Rapids at Cascade Trails, where he found a loving community.
Born in Muskegon, Michigan, he was Julie’s husband for over 50 years. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, shared faith, and sports. Randy and Julie are survived by their 3 children, Ryan (Katrina) of East Grand Rapids, Blake (Sharon) of Portland, Oregon, and Amanda (Todd) of East Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Noah, Tess, Nathan, Jeffrey, Will and Elliot. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon and Shelley of Grand Haven, who have remained close to Randy and his family through the years.
Randy loved playing tennis, racquetball, golf, pickleball, and more, and enjoyed the camaraderie of his teammates. Later in life, he became a faithful man, enjoying his membership at Calvary Church in Grand Rapids.
Professionally, he was a long-time dentist in Grand Haven. When Randy wasn’t working or playing, he was cheering on his beloved Wolverines, the Spring Lake Lakers, and the Red Wings.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Hospice or a charity of your choosing in his memory.
Rest in peace, Randy, Randall, Dr. Peters, Dear Old Dad, Grandpa Randy, Bumpa.
