The daughter of Pedro & Candida (Semana) Baltazar, she was born on March 27, 1930 in Jones, Isabella, Philippines. She was the proud mother of 10 children; grandmother to 31 grandchildren; and great grandmother to 16 great grandchildren.
Presentacion lived a full and rich life. She worked as a farmer, massage therapist, seamstress and dressmaker. She was a deeply caring, kind, and compassionate person. Her caring nature and concern for others led her to become involved in local issues in her native country.
Presentacion spent time as an activist promoting social and political change where she worked to improve the lives of others. Presentacion enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog "Jasmine". She also enjoyed cooking and watching T.V..
Her beaming personality, smile, and love for life was evident to all those around her. Her pride and smile shined especially bright the day she became a citizen of the United States.
Presentacion is preceded in death by her husband Domingo Castro; two sons, Danilo and David Castro of the Philippines; and special friend, Donald Hatch of Jackson.
While she will be missed by all of her grandchildren, she will be especially missed by grandchildren Zachary and Zoe, whom she helped raise when she first came to the United States in 1998.
Presentacion touched many lives, directly and indirectly, in both the Philippines and in her newly adopted home of the United States. She will be deeply missed by all of those that were blessed by her presence and compassionate, selfless friendship.
A memorial service & celebration of Presentacion's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Park Forest Apartments Club House, 3300 Spirea Court, Jackson, MI 49202
