Paul Max Johnson

He is the son of Hazel and John Johnson. Max was born on June 30, 1928 in Arkansas. Max retired from Consumer’s Power after 40 years of service, 10 years on a golf course in Florida, and 18 years at Howell Walmart. He was a member of the Elks Club and Seventh Day Adventist Church of Howell. He loved playing cards, poker, golf, and loved watching the Detroit Tigers.

Max was proceeded in death by his parents: Hazel and John Johnson, his wife Dorothy Johnson, daughter Deborah Bearup, son Paul D. Johnson, brother John Douglas Johnson, and sisters: Martha Tinker, Betty Milburn and Marilyn Glasco.

Max’s surviving children: Beverly Diane Vincent, Randall Johnson, Kathy Johnson, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and sister Carolyn Cartwright.

Memorial Services will be held at Baldwin Housing Commission. 105 Fournier Dr, Baldwin, Mi 49304, 2:30pm – 5:00pm on Sunday October 4, 2026.
