Pat was born February 23, 1945 in Petoskey, Michigan where she was raised, and lived most of her life until her retirement. She then became a "snowbird" traveling back and forth to Florida and Michigan searching for warmth.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, William G. (Red) and Elva L. Seldon; brother, William (Bill) Seldon, Jr.; nephews, Robert Seldon and John D Allen; and a niece, Angie Seldon.
She is survived by her three children, Trischa L. Shuttleworth (Mike Toy), Deborah J. Badertscher (Michael Akes), and Matthew G (Matt) Shuttleworth (Michaela); seven grandchildren, Cassandra A. (Sandy), Mazuca (Rafael), Luke John Thorp, Ahna Marie-Jean Thorp, Stephan Michael Allen Badertscher, Brittany Ann Marie Badertscher (Colin Meyers), Amanda Brigitte (Mandy) Shuttleworth, Brian, (Travis) Crocker, and Megan Louise Shuttleworth; one great granddaughter, Savannah Isabella Prowdley; two nieces; four nephews; two great nieces; three great nephews; brother-in-law, Mike Mattox; and five cousins.
Pat loved her sisters very much, Marilyn Seldon, Mary Ann (Seldon) Melke (Tim), Donna Seldon.
Pat worked for United Technologies where she was an avid Union shop steward. She switched careers to Manage an adult special needs foster home for Summertree Residential Centers in Boyne City, Michigan.
She cared for and loved her patients like family.
Mom truly loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, (her people)!
Please gather with us for a Celebration of Life to share memories, to laugh and to cry and to remember a beloved woman who will be greatly missed. A luncheon will be provided for all to enjoy. Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 1pm - 4:30pm at North Ayr Schoolhouse, 3419 N. Ayr Rd. Alanson, MI.
