Patricia Ann Measday

Patricia Ann Measday (nee Kurkjian), age 74, of Grand Rapids passed away at her home on Sunday, December 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Dan Measday; loving daughter, and “favorite” son-in-law, Colleen (Scott) Fitzpatrick; devoted grandsons, Liam and Kevin Fitzpatrick; dear sister, Marisue Kurkjian; fond aunt of Margaret-Ann (Jeff) Baker; and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews, including Egan (Peyton) Baker, Keelan (Ashley) Baker, Bridgett Baker and Molly Baker.

Many favorite memories were made at the family cottage on Silver Lake in Rockford where Pat enjoyed going all year round. She and Dan enjoyed traveling, especially on cruises and all-inclusive trips. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid card player. “Grandma Juice” was an important part of her day at 5:00 PM, especially when served by her grandson! Pat was always up for a laugh and good time with family and friends; many friends becoming family!

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:30pm to 9:00pm at the Casino Club, 3260 Salerno Drive, Grand Rapids. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 5:30pm.
