

Nancy DiScala Parker, 56, of Holland, Michigan, joined our Lord on July 30th, 2022. Nancy passed after a year and a half battle with lung cancer. She lived her life full of joy and spread sunshine to everyone she met. Nancy graduated from Michigan State and continued her education by getting a Masters of Social Work from Wayne State. She touched many lives through her career as a social worker, through her previous ownership of The Great American Bagel in Holland, Michigan and through her blog Coffee & Christ (https://coffeechrist.wordpress.com/author/parkernd/).
She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend.
She was predeceased by her mother Ella Stretlin and her father Vincent DiScala. She left behind her husband Kevin Parker, her children, Sabrina Dieffenbach (Trevor), Eve Cole (Jeremy) and Kathryn Parker, her siblings Jamie DiScala, Vincent DiScala, Susan DiScala, and William DiScala (Lisa). Along with many nieces and nephews.
Her visitation and funeral will be held at Our Lady of the Lake in Holland, MI. The visitation will be on Tuesday, August 9th from 5-8 pm. There will also be a visitation from 10-11 am on Wednesday, August 10th preceding the funeral mass at 11 am, followed by a luncheon. Her eulogy will be held shortly before the start of mass.
