Michael Robert Powers, age 71, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids from CHF and multiple complications over the past year. The son of Dr. Robert Powers and Betty Powers, he was born on July 26, 1953 in Saginaw.
Mike worked in the mortgage business for 40 years and retired in 2015. After retirement he enjoyed buying and selling a variety of antiques and collectibles.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Yvonne (Massoll) Powers; son, Brett Powers; daughter, Amanda Powers; grandchildren, Madison Powers, Lucas Powers and Gavin Overway; sister, Patti (Dan) McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. A celebration of life will be held for immediate family only this Sunday.
