Mark Richard Allen

Mark Richard Allen, age 59, of Laingsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023 at MediLodge of Campus Area in East Lansing, MI. Mark was born in Alma, MI, on September 26, 1963 to John Edward Allen and the late Wilma Ann (Bott) Allen.

Mark enjoyed camping, fishing, classic cars, spending time with friends and family, and his search for the perfect hand-dipped corn dog at fairs.

He previously worked as a custodian for Dewitt Public Schools and, most recently, a custodian at a State of Michigan rest area.

He is survived by his father, John Allen (Joyce); siblings, Michael (Tina) Allen, Kellie (Michael) Neal, and Marty (Carrie) Allen; nieces and nephews, Michael Neal (Ashley), Kasey Love (Erik), Cutler Allen, Brooke Allen, and Mallorie Allen; great nieces, Hailey Harton and Paisley Neal; great nephews, Jonas Paul and Luka Love; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Allen; maternal grandparents, Forrest and Jean Bott; and paternal grandparents, Philip and Lois Allen.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 8th from 1-4pm at DeWitt's Riverside Park, 415 S. Bridge St., DeWitt, MI.
