Marie Louise Bowman

Marie was the beloved daughter of Loy D. Royer and Eliza Mae (Betty) Crook. She was a proud graduate of WK Kellogg Rural Agricultural School (Hickory Corners, Mi), where she completed her studies in 1955 as Valedictorian and graduated from Bronson Methodist Hospital School of Nursing (Kalamazoo, Mi) in 1958, earning her RN license.

On August 31, 1957, she married her devoted husband, Harold LaMarr Bowman. Together, they built a loving family.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Harry. She is survived by her husband; three sons, David Alan (Rachelle Ann), Donald Lee (Sally Ann), Steven LaMarr (Lisa Marie), and three cherished grandchildren, Joshua Gale (Lydia Eileen Morgan), Caleb Patrick and Hailey Marie Bowman Balting (Eadin).

Marie Louise’s life was marked by her dedication to her family and her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6th, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1950 North Jebavy Drive, Ludington, MI 49431. All are welcome to share love, memories and support.
