Jimmy Darryl Smith

Jimmy Darryl Smith, age 65, of Holland, Michigan passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Jimmy was born May 30, 1959 in Fairfield California to Lawrence Ed Smith and Earnestine Smith. Jimmy was the fourth born of seven siblings, one sister Dora and brothers Lawrence, Robert, Bobby, David and Bruce.

Jimmy served in The US Army in 1977 and work at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville California where he served as a Correctional Officer.

He was married to Nawassha Smith in 1994 where together they had a combined family of five children, Jessica, Jason and Jimmy Jr. And Tasha and Thomas Swift. Jimmy leaves to cherish his life and memory a loving wife, Nawassha Smith, children, grandchildren Aiden, Jubilee, Tiana here in Michigan and six grandchildren in California and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be at 12 noon on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Rose Park Baptist Church, 600 Butternut Drive, Holland, Michigan 49424.

By this promise of God and by Jimmy's testimony of salvation, I can say with assurance that I will see my beloved Jimmy again in heaven. Until then, "Rest In Peace"
