The son of Keith Charles Palmer and Marguerite Sanford Palmer, he was born on December 12,1943 in Battle Creek.
Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Harper Creek High School where he met many lifelong friends and was a multi-sport athlete. After meeting Kathleen Marks, they got married in 1965 and had two sons, Chuck and Joe. His favorite hobbies included gardening, cars, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kay; and the love of his life, Kathleen.
Jerry's kind hearted spirit will live on in all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
