Jeremy Michael Smithers

Jeremy Michael Smithers passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 30 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Courtnie (Troiano) and his daughter, Ella Grace both of Dansville, Michigan. Jeremy will also be forever remembered by his parents, Mary F. Kujawa of Stockbridge, MI, Jeffrey M. Smithers of Watervliet, MI, by grandmothers Helen J. Kujawa of Stockbridge, MI, Bev Wildeman (Smithers) of St. Joseph, MI, by sisters Tracie Kaszubowski of Columbus, OH and Crissy Wilson (Smithers) of Chicago, IL, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by grandfathers Robert L. Smithers (1995) and Gerald F. Kujawa (2010) both of Stockbridge, MI.

Jeremy was born on November 15, 1988 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was a member of the 2007 class of Dansville High School. He worked in property preservation and satellite installation, allowing him to travel across all of mid-Michigan. Jeremy enjoyed fishing with his wife and daughter at private ponds and Hawk Island where they took a favorite family photo. He also enjoyed riding quads outdoors year-round and deer hunting with friends during bow season.

A private service was held for immediate family on November 21, 2018 at Gorsline-Runiciman funeral home with assistance from the Neptune Society of Grand Rapids.
