Jeramiah Joseph Burns

Passed away on March 16, 2024 at Trinity Health Muskegon, after complication from an epileptic seizure he suffered on March 8, 2024 at his childhood home in Mears, Michigan.

Born to Carl & Tina Burns in Shelby, Mi. April 24,1977

Know as Miah to family and friends he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Miah spent his early childhood years living in Hart, Mi.. At the age of 11 he moved with his mother to the village of Mears, Mi., where he quickly made life long friends Brad Foster, Dustin Walsworth, Mickey & Tom Riggs. He attended Hart public schools where he played football until an ankle injury ended his career. After high school he left to find work in Detroit and soon decided he did not like big city living. He returned home and began building his life. At the age of 23 he met the love of his life Nicole and settled down with her and her son. At the age of 29 his first child was born. By age 31 he was a father again and he knew his life's path. He worked several years in retail management to provide for his family. He wanted to raise his children in the village and refused to move several times. He enjoyed playing pool and poker. He lived most all of his life within Oceana County.

Miah is survived by his loving Mother Tina (Raymond) Weisler. 3 Son's, Kaine J. Burns, Gabrael R. Burns, and Ruben I. Jaramillo. His life partner of 23 years, his one true love Nicole Flores. Maternal Grandfather, Dayrl L. Gray. 1 half brother Daniel (Stacy) Burns, 4 half sister's Sherry Serrano, Amanda (Ever) Martinez, Kimberly (Wilson) Cubias, Deanna (Saul) Silva. 6 Aunt's, Caprice, Janice, Bev, Beck, Debby, Marietta. 1 Uncle Charles Burns. Cousins Naiche (Sarah) Gray, Christina Reinhardt, Steven (Colleen) Sitzema, Kammie (Matt) Krueger, Benjamin (Brandy) Sitzema, and many others. Several Niece's, and Nephew's.

Miah was preceded in death by his Father, Carl J. Burns, Maternal Grandmother, Carol A. Gray, Paternal Grandparents, Floyd & Margret Burns.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
