Eveline Vally Blish, on Monday, February 17, 2025 joined her savior when she passed away peacefully at 84 years of age. She is survived by her loving husband Marion Maurice “Maury” Blish, sharing 63 wonderful years of marriage; son Roger (Christina); grandchildren Ashleigh, Rebecca (Adam), Joshua (Nicole) and Brandon; great-grandchildren Jordan, Shaun, Isabella, Aurora and Zachary; sisters Elvira and Ingeborg (Klaus); brother Gerhard (Brenda). Preceded in death by her daughter Sandra; parents Ernst and Erna; and sister Regina.
Eveline was born on May 10, 1940 in Berlin, Germany to Ernst F.H. Marten and Erna F.B. Geske. Immigrated to the United States in 1956, became a naturalized citizen in 1962, and graduated from GVSU in 1993. While working at Warner Norcross + Judd and Miller Johnson law firms in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she established life long dear friends, while progressing from secretary to Director of Office Administration.
Eveline’s pure joy came from her faith, with Maury, raising her children and grandchildren with values of faith, love, compassion and family, being a great-grandmother, and being with and cooking for friends and family.
