Douglas Alan Armstead

Douglas is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carolyn; children, daughters Jossie, Dawn, Donna Lynn, and Douglas JR; siblings, Connie (Jack) Barron, Cathy (Bill) Godwin, and Dan (Harriet) Armstead; grandchildren, Lucas, Cheyann, Clinton JR, Zackery, and Emily; along with his great-grandchildren, Izaleaha, Clinton III, Eliana, Ahava, Layla, Dustin III, Edith, Rylee, Anakin, and one on the way Jasper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Viola Armstead; sister, Donna Jean Glenndening; and great-grandson, Adaein.

The Air Force was a significant part of Douglas's life, reflecting his commitment and service to his country. His dedication to his family was equally profound, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We will cherish his memory.

There will be a celebration of life at Chief Okemos Sportsman Club, 4667 N Gunnell Rd, Dimondale, MI 48821 on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM with military honors at 1:30 PM.
