Diane Lee Farmer

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Scott. Surviving are her two children, Kimberly (Shawn) Wickham and Christopher Farmer; sister, Lisa Griffin; granddaughter, Lily; several nieces, cousins and many friends.

As a proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Nursing, Diane spent her life caring for others for over 50 years. She put her skill and compassion to good use, working for several Hospice organizations and most recently at the Battle Creek VA Hospital. She was a member of the Calhoun County Quilt Guild. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, crafting, and tending to her clematis plants. She had a passion for genealogy, Beatles music, and dressing up for Halloween. Her most recent favorite pastime was supporting her only granddaughter in various musical/theatrical performances and encouraging her to pursue her dreams.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, giving spirit and the love that she poured into her family.

Memorial services are at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, with an on-site luncheon following.
