

Deborah Lea Stowell, age 69, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at American House of Kentwood after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. The daughter of Robert & Betty (Fuller) Stowell, she was born on June 14, 1951.
Deborah was an artist and created a Southwestern Art design on gourds and wall art, inspired by Indian culture. She owned a small business for over 20 years and spent summers traveling to art shows in the midwestern states to sell her wares. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, going to movies, going for long walks, bird watching on her back deck and was an avid reader. And, yes, she was crazy about Game of Thrones.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Chester and Florabelle Stowell, and Claudia Fuller. She is survived by her siblings, Kathy Barr and Robert (Jeri) Stowell; nephews, Emery, Austin and Lucas Barr, Abbie (Caleb) Burton, and Adam (Allie) Stowell; uncle, Doug (Carol) Stowell; and cousins, Steve (Sara) Stowell, and Kristen (James) Caldwell.
Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services with be at a later date when the pandemic allows.
