Curtis Lee Kimber

He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Pamela Mae Kimber; one sister, Karla Dee Esparza (Venacio); four children, Brandon Christopher Krontz (Chelsea La Ree), Erica Lynn Love, Austin Robert VanTil, and Andrew Ryan VanTil (Kendra Jane); grandchildren, Mercedes Nicole Krontz, Johnathon Matthew Love, Jordan Christopher Krontz, Alexis Lynn Love, Addison Karma Sky Krontz, Natalia Grace Krontz, and Madelyn Jane VanTil.

His most valued employees were his family and he cherished his customers who supported him and his business. Curt was born the fourth and last child to Roy Kimber and Sheryl (Guilford) and he was raised in Holland, Michigan. He attended every elementary school in the district, so it was a given that he knew all the kids by Junior High. Curt graduated with the class of 1986. He started in his Dad’s body shop at age 16. Curt went on to own several of his own shops, Curt’s Custom Creations, House of Choppers, The Car Cure, and in his final years, Kimber Auto Body and Paint (Formerly Brinks). As the industry changed, Curt adjusted for demand, including building and painting motorcycles, when it was profitable, and collision repair throughout his career. He built many handcrafted, show winning motorcycles. Riding one of his masterpieces, right up until his death. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, traveling in his rock star motor home and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the most generous PaPa any child could ask for. He firmly believed that tithing was the reason for his abundant success. Curt attended Engedi Church.
