Alexander "Alex" J. Ciecierski Jr.

Alexander J. Ciecierski Jr., age 73, of Portage, Michigan passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was born December 26, 1950, in Natrona, Pennsylvania to the late Marcella and Alexander Sr. Ciecierski in Carlisle, PA. He was the oldest of four children. Alex grew up in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Alex was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. With his degree in accounting, Alex worked as the controller for several hotels in his career. He loved to fish with friends and family on the Susquehanna river in Pennsylvania. Alex also enjoyed watching tv, baseball, bowling and cooking.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandy Ciecierski; daughter Lauren Klimp; brother Mark Ciecierski; sister Donna Brobst, sister in law Vicki Ciecierski; brother in law Tim Brobst; son in law Jeff Klimp as well as several nieces and nephews. Alex was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dennis Ciecierski. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services per Alex’s request. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
