Yip Chan

Passed away in Eden Prairie, MN

Yip enjoyed staying active in his lifetime having many hobbies including fishing, racket ball, swimming, and gardening. Trained in only a technical education, he worked his way into a production manager in his career working for many years at Qualitone, which eventually became Starkey Labs.

Yip enjoyed cooking, authentic Chinese food when it could be found in Minnesota and trips to the casino to try his luck.

He is survived by his wife, Nu Chan of Eden Prairie; daughters Ling (Steve) Becker and Jing (Chris) Goldsmith, and five grandchildren Sarah (Joe) Toates, Ben Becker, Anna Becker, Jasmine Goldsmith and Emma Goldsmith.

The family will be holding a private service.
