William Vern Mulenburg

William V. Mulenburg (Bill), 63, of Minneapolis, passed away on August 31, 2024. He was brave and strong throughout his battle with cancer, but cancer won the war. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering to honor Bill on September 28, 2024, 2:00-4:00 at Henry Hill Apts., 150 7th Ave., Granite Falls, MN, 56241.

Bill was born on July 20, 1961, to Vern and Ruth Mulenburg of Granite Falls. He attended Granite Falls High School. Bill grew up in the restaurant business. He worked alongside his dad at the family-owned Oaks Drive-In. He continued his career as a chef cooking for celebrities at Manny’s Steakhouse and Market Bar-B-Que in Minneapolis. He loved to play pool and spend time with friends.

Bill is survived by his mother, Ruth Mulenburg, and his siblings Brad Mulenburg, Tom Mulenburg, Joan Mulenburg, and Kathy (Tom) Betzen; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vern Mulenburg, and his grandparents.
