Willard "Will" Neumeister

Age 70, of Brooklyn Park went to be with our Lord on June 26, 2023. With the help of the wonderful Park Nicollet Hospice team and his loving wife, Will was able to stay in the comfort of his home until the time came to say goodbye.

Will was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Florence Neumeister. He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Laura (Justin); sibling, Daniel; granddaughters, Infinity, Spheria, and Ayla; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Will had a successful career as a City Planner/Landscape Architect. Through his skill and innovation, he helped shape many of our beautiful cities: Aberdeen, SD; Brooklyn Park, Blaine, and Andover, MN.

People knew Will as a kind, loving, caring, and intelligent person. He was an excellent leader and mentor, and he was well-respected within his circle and the community. Will was a creative person who gave much of himself to his family, friends and work.

In 1998, Will and Diane purchased a lot with a garage on it, and through Will's steadfast vision, ingenuity, and hard work, transformed it into a beautiful cottage for family and friends to enjoy. Located on Lake Mille Lacs, it was a perfect place to fulfill one of his greatest passions — fishing. Will also loved playing poker, which was another thing he was able to enjoy while at the lake with the locals. Through the years, Will and Diane met many wonderful friends from the area, some who were weekenders like them, that they will be forever grateful for.

We lost Will far too soon, but we can take solace knowing that he is heaven with loved ones lost and that here will come another day when we can be together.
