Doubtful
From the doubtful old lady
With wondrous dreams;
Things may not always be
as they seem;
To love a man and want
Him near;
Means two things
It may appear;
One to listen with an
Open ear;
and
One to listen and
Never hear;
For when he speaks
With words of means;
He does not help
The lady’s deams
-Ginny Beyer
