Terrance Allen Wichser

Terrance “Terry” Allen Wichser, age 77, of Cannon Falls, MN, passed away on August 9, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus.

Terry was born on March 4, 1949 in Faribault, MN to Mathias and Hazel Wichser. He grew up in Sogn Valley and attended Cannon Falls High School. He married Kathy Watkins in 1968. Terry worked as a tool and die maker and retired from Sterling Correctional Facility as a Corrections Officer.

Terry is survived by his 3 children, Theresa (David) Sande, Donna (Calvin) Anderson, and Charley (Penny) Wichser; 8 grandchildren, Colton (Kayla), Alyssa (Adam), Georgia (Ryan), Maggie, Amanda (Randall), Cody, Brandon (Emma), and Cameron (Madisyn); blessed with 10 great grandchildren, Abigale, Addison, Annika, Rennan, Rheya, Rhyar, Rowan, Lily, Evelyn and Lucy; siblings, Yvonne (David) Skordahl and Ron Wichser; and many nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; his parents, Mathias and Hazel; sisters, Gwendolyn and Donna; brothers, Mathias, Bernard, and Delbert; sister-in-law, Sandy; and nephew Derek.

A celebration of life service will be held in the fall of 2026.
