Steven Gust Simula, 78, of Maple Grove passed away Oct. 6, 2026.
He was born July 14, 1948 in Cloquet, MN, the son of Leo and Mayme Simula. Steve married Kathy Mangan in 1971. They were married for 55 years.
Steve enjoyed aviation, hunting, fishing, camping, travel, golfing, skiing, and outdoor adventures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne, and granddaughter Nora.
Steve is survived by sons Ryan (Amáda), Nolan (Adriane), Justin (Steph), granddaughters Madeline, Ella, Greer, Paige, Molly, and Clara, with a great-grandchild due in March. He is also survived by brothers Herb and Howard and a large extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Lord of Life Church 7401 County Road 101 in Maple Grove. Visitation 10:00am. Service 11:00am.
