Sondra Jeanne Honebrink (Anderson) was born June 15, 1938 in Des Moines, lowa to parents Irene and Dick (Meredith) Anderson.
They moved to Minneapolis where she attended grade school, junior high and graduated in 1956 from Roosevelt High School.
She graduated from the nursing program at University of Minnesota. She was in a sorority at the University.
Sondra was very social all her life. In high school she was part of a group of 12 girls that had slumber parties, went to dances and had lots of fun. The group continued to meet for many years for birthdays. Sondra went until she couldn't anymore.
She moved to Missouri to pursue her nursing career working at the state hospital.
In the 80's she felt called to return to Minnesota to be near her parents. She was an only child and felt she needed to be with them.
She was married in 2002 to Roger Honebrink and they were very happy for 18 years until he passed away. They were involved in their church, Prayer for the Nations, Prison Fellowship and the Velvetones singing group.
Sondra loved people and animals, especially dogs. She had many friends and was loved by all.
Now she is face to face with her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
