Sarah Jane Friedl

Sarah Jane Friedl, age 86, of Monticello, MN, formally of Clear Lake, MN, passed away with her loving family near on June 16, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1939, to Leonard and Sarah (Braegelmann) Schramel. Sarah married Raymond Max Friedl on May 30, 1961. They had one son, Randy. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Sarah had a strong faith.

Sarah is survived by her son, Randy (Jodi); grandchildren, Bailey, Jordan, Noah (Kylee); great grandchildren, Charlotte, Callum, Sullivan; siblings, Norbert (Joan) Schramel, Mary Ann Bernick, Marge Olson, Rose (Ron) Gohman, Ellie (Jim) Hopper; nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Friedl (February 10, 2010); her parents, Leonard and Sarah (Braegelmann) Schramel; siblings, Leonard Schramel Jr., Larry Schramel, Viola Schloeder, Richard Schramel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on July 1, 2026, at St. Augustine Church, 442 2nd St. SE, St. Cloud, MN, 56304. Visitation begins one hour prior.
