Sandra Kathleen Brenhaug

Sandra Kathleen Brenhaug (Berg) of Glencoe, MN, formerly of Shakopee, passed away on Thursday, October 19 , 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on May 10, 1943 in St. Paul, MN.

Sandy graduated from St Peter, MN. She had a beautiful singing voice and sang in church choir into her 70’s. Sandy was also in a group called the Harmonettes that toured Europe in the 1970’s. Sandy loved gardening and had many flower gardens wherever she resided. But her true love was for animals. It didn’t matter what kind, she loved them all, especially her dogs, Daisy, Gidget, and Lisa . She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and was able to visit her family in Sweden twice.

She preceded in death by her husband, Al Brenhaug; parents, Elias and Anna Berg; sisters, Betty Sprain and Audrey Rystrom; and brothers, Jim Berg and Jerry Berg.

Sandy is survived by her children, Jon Paron, Daniel Paron, Tammy Paron, and Tony (Cindy) Paron; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all doctors, nurses, and staff at Glencoe Regional Health who had taken such great care of her through the last couple of years and for the care and compassion they showed our loved one.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Christ Lutheran Church in Glencoe, MN on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
