A loved soul, Robert Russell Turnbull, 61, born on February 23, 1962, passed away peacefully from natural causes on December 11, 2023.
Robert was raised and loved by his parents, Robert and Marcia Turnbull in Minneapolis, MN. Then later moved to Britton, SD, where he went to Britton High School, graduating in 1980. After graduating, Robert joined the Army in 1981 serving four years, one year being overseas as a cannon crewman. Robert became a loving father of two wonderful children, Robert and Madelyn Turnbull, who were the most important parts of his life.
A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Club, 9152 Old Cedar Ave S, Bloomington MN, on January 9th, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, on January 16th at 1:30pm.
