Robert “Bob” Prois, age 80, of Blaine, Minnesota, finished his final round on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with his family by his side. Bob was born on November 27, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Arnold and Sylvia Prois.
Bob married the love of his life, Karyn, on September 10, 1966, in a ceremony on the University of Minnesota campus. Their nearly sixty years together were filled with devotion, laughter, and shared adventures.
Bob dedicated more than 40 years of his professional life to Aggressive Industries, Inc., where he served as an accountant and controller. Bob approached his work with a calm presence, integrity, and deep sense of responsibility.
Bob cherished his time on the golf course, where he found both challenge and camaraderie. He proudly volunteered as a ranger at Victory Links Golf Course in Blaine, spending countless hours helping others enjoy the game he loved. His passion for community extended beyond the fairways — he served for many years as a volunteer board member and officer for the Columbia Heights Athletic Boosters, supporting local athletes and programs that meant so much to him.
He and Karyn shared a lifelong love of travel, completing visits to all 50 states and experiencing many of the world’s most remarkable places. Bob was also a loyal fan of Minnesota sports, cheering with unwavering enthusiasm for the Golden Gophers and the Columbia Heights Hylanders.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Karyn; daughter, Darcy (Steve) Roessler; son, Cort (Sandy) Prois; and granddaughter, Madison. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss his humor, kindness, and steady presence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Sylvia Prois; his brother, Arnold Prois; and his sister, Connie Prois.
