Richard Milo Stensrud

Richard "Dick" Milo Stensrud passed away in Grand Rapids, Minnesota on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the age of 88.

Dick was born in Rochester, MN on July 18, 1937. He grew up and went to school in Albert Lea, MN. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and the National Guard. Dick held a long career in design and electrical engineering. Dick had a flare for life, was outgoing, gregarious, and had an absolute passion for music.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 65 years, Virginia Dale Stensrud; sister, Romaine; and brother, Gerald.

Dick is survived by daughter, Desiree (Terry) Littlefield; son, MikKael (Paige) Stensrud; grandchildren, Joshua (Mary), Jacob, Jordan (Sky), Travis, and Shannon (Richard); great-grandchildren, Colton and Connor; and nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 11th at 2:00pm with the service to follow from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 7800 150th St. W, Apple Valley, MN 55124. There will be a Celebration Gathering from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at The Tavern Grill, 15435 Founders Ln, Apple Valley, MN 55124. Private interment will be at Fort Snelling.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or plant a tree in his memory.
