Richard Lee Hagen

Age 74 of Minnetonka, MN. After a very brief battle, he died of Alzheimer’s and Cancer. He died at home with this family surrounding him on September 8th, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, 2 brother in-laws David Schroeder and Dennis Mischke. He is survived by wife of 53 years and 11 months Dorthy (Mischke); Sons David (Jessica) and Tim (Kamille); 4 Grandsons Kyle, Trevor, James and Carson. Also survived by Sister Jan Schroeder; sister in-laws; brother in-law; many nieces and nephews.

Richard grew up in Southern Minnesota and attended Welcome High School. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Church. After graduating he attended college in Austin, MN. He was drafted into the Army for a 2-year deployment. After the Army he worked for IBM as a Customer Engineer for 40+ years. He was very proud of his family. He enjoyed his yard and garden, home, and bowling.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 21st, 2019 at Faith Church, 12007 Excelsior Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55343. Visitation starting at 2:00pm, Service at 3:00pm with reception following. Private Burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Faith Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, or Feed My Starving Children.
