Peggy Louise Bauman

Peggy Louise Bauman of St. Peter MN passed away on June 12, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on September 8, 1943, in Hastings MN.

She was actively involved in activities at the Ecumen Sand Prairie where she made many friends and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Naime Harth; sister, Hope Schultz; husband, Paul Bauman; and sons, Jeffery Harris and Chris Harris.

She is survived by her brother, Carl Erickson; daughter, Jennifer Sweet; granddaughters, Samantha (Britt) and Sabrina Johnston; niece, Holly Selig; stepchildren, Pat Bauman, Tammy (Terry) Groskreutz, and Ransom (Teri) Bauman; grandchildren, Christy, Evan, Trisha, Gregory, Serena, Jeremy, and Stephanie; as well as many great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Ecumen Sand Prairie for the care and compassion they showed Peggy in the past two years. Sara, Robin, Mary and the other staff and residents made her truly happy and felt like she had found a second home.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Woodlawn Cemetery on French Hill Road, East St. Peter MN on Saturday July 18, 2026, at 1 pm.
