He is survived by his wife Nancy, three children: Paul III, Laura, Lisa, and grandchildren Seth, Samuel, and Reese Elinger. Paul is also survived by brothers John and Timothy, a sister, Antoinette, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Mary and Teresa, and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1 North Rd., Circle Pines, MN, 55014, on Monday, July 14th at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour before the service and a reception following the service.
Interment at Fort Snelling will take place at a later date.
