Newland A Wheeler

Wheeler, Newland A. (Del) age 84, currently residing in Burnsville Minnesota transitioned peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Newland was born in 1935 to Clarence and Effie (Rogers) Wheeler in Bayfield CO. Always working on something, as a furniture maker and remodeler, he became a skilled craftsman working with wood, marble and tile and he created lasting furniture pieces and custom home interiors that are treasured by many. He enjoyed many years as a faithful servant volunteering for different tasks within his church and was always willing to pitch in and lend a hand to those around him. Preceded in death by his parents; infant son Robin Scott; and brother Raymond Wheeler, Newland is survived by his wife Donna, sons Michael (Carolyn) of Glendora, CA; Jerry (Bette) of Eagan, MN; Gregory (Patti) of Springfield, MO; and Stephen (Helen) of Denver, CO; step-daughter Shanna (Brian) Dill of Santa Maria, CA; seven grandchildren and nine great-Grandchildren. A private Celebration of Life will be held with the family on October 5, 2019.
