Our family is very sad to announce that the talented, extraordinary, and classy lady Moose Giannetti, of Roseville, MN, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025 (just 8 days shy of her 81st birthday) after a short stay in hospice at MHealth Fairview Hospital. She was born Lois Woehrer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1944. Her family moved to Edina, Minnesota, where she attended Edina High School. After graduating in 1962, she worked at Gopher Camera and took classes in her spare time. Later, Moose was hired by Slide Shooters, where she eventually became the production manager of the whole operation.
Moose married Tom Gower and was with him until he passed away. Later in life, Moose discovered her talent and passion as a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker, helping her clients realize their dreams of home ownership and kindly stewarding so many through the homebuying/selling process. She truly loved her work as a realtor, working for her many clients over the years. It was also in her later years that Moose got re-married to Joe Giannetti, in 2002, and warmly embraced his daughters, Leila and Elena (David) and grandson, Alessandro.
Moose was a devoted Catholic and was active at Corpus Christi Church in Roseville, where she shared her talents as their parishioner photographer.
For Moose, Halloween was her biggest holiday, when she would decorate her house to the rafters with anything she could find that was spooky and gruesome in preparation for her epic annual Halloween parties. Moose loved to make people laugh, whether that was finding the perfect greeting card with loud music and flashing lights, or her one-of-a-kind JibJab e-cards of her and Joe at the holidays. France was one of her favorite places to visit and she was still practicing her French language skills up until her passing.
The family would like to thank the entire team at MHealth Fairview for the incredible care and compassion that they showed Moose in her final days.
