

He served in the Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War, then later dedicated 37 years of his life to educating and mentoring students as a vocal music teacher and wrestling coach in the Minneapolis Public Schools. All this while singing and performing professionally, as well as in his home church, and rehabbing and maintaining several rental properties.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Lillian Wisniewski; his brothers, John Wisniewski & Eugene (Ted) Wisniewski; his sisters, Mary Cobb, Delores Niegos & Dorothy Pasko.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Carole Wisniewski; his sons, Frank Wisniewski (Vicki), Luke Wisniewski (Teresa), Michael Wisniewski (Anja) & Marc Wisniewski; his grandsons, Parker Wisniewski, Jack Wisniewski & Riley Wisniewski; his brothers, Robert Wisniewski, Tom Wisniewski (Judith), & George Wisniewski (Terry); and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
Mike was blessed with a positive and joyful attitude, a helpful spirit, boundless energy, a powerful work ethic, and a tenor voice that touched many hearts. He will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staffs at Edgemont Place and St. Croix Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Mike in his final days.
