Melvin Roland Karline

Age 79, died peacefully on August 2, 2023. He was born in Albany, CA to Melvin & Beatrice on November 19, 1943. Mel enjoyed traveling, gardening, photography, and taking road trips. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1961. He graduated from Heald Institute of Technology in 1967 with a degree in Electronic Engineering, while serving in the US Navy until 1968 and later graduated from Chabot College in 1975 with a degree in Administration of Justice. He is survived by his wife Linda of 57 years; children Jeneane (Mike) Karline, John (Jenny) Karline, Joy (Jim) Vertein and Nathan (Jammie) Karline; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeff. Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 26 at 10am at Living Hope Church at 400 3rd St, Farmington, MN with a luncheon to follow.
